KAIUKI is designed around different evidence types rather than one giant 'available' label. The app can combine permitted retailer data, community observations, catalog information, and market evidence while preserving what each source actually means.
1. Start with a product
Search for a collectible product, add it to a watchlist, scan a card or sealed item, or follow a release. Product identity is matched conservatively so similar names and printings are not silently treated as the same thing.
2. Check the source type
Official retailer availability, community reports, release announcements, asking prices, sold observations, and estimates answer different questions. KAIUKI keeps those categories visible instead of laundering them into a single claim.
3. Use confidence and freshness
A stock sighting from hours ago is more useful than one from days ago. A market estimate based on several recent independent observations is stronger than one based on a single stale source. KAIUKI uses recency and source quality as part of its interpretation.
4. Decide for yourself
The app provides informational tools—not guarantees. Inventory can change, market values move, professional grades can differ from photo-based condition guidance, and future value cannot be predicted with certainty.
What KAIUKI will not do
- Claim a product is in transit unless a permitted source actually provides that signal.
- Present community chatter as retailer confirmation.
- Guarantee a future price, sale price, investment return, grade, or authentication result.
- Hide the difference between a sold comp and an asking price.
